01 / OUR PURPOSE

Protect the bond.
Restore possibility.

Children. Parents. Grandparents.
A connected circle of care.

The Ministry for Family Integrity is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and restoring healthy parent-child and extended family relationships.

We advance research, education, advocacy, and practical, evidence-informed approaches to help families overcome conflict, prevent unnecessary separation, and support children’s emotional, social, and developmental well-being.

Our purpose includes preventing family breakdown. We work toward a future where parents have the knowledge and support to care for their children, extended families can remain meaningfully involved, and communities recognize family integrity as a shared responsibility.

Safe relationships. Responsible parenting. Support that reaches across generations.

02 / OUR WORK

Understanding families.
Putting knowledge to work.

Our mission brings together four connected areas of work, with children’s safety and healthy family functioning at the center.

01

Education & practical support

Help parents and professionals understand behavior, improve communication, and use practical tools for family life. Connect families with educational guidance, peer support, and accessible resources.

02

Research & understanding

Advance the study of family relationships, conflict, and parent-child disconnection. Use learning theory, direct observation, and measurable behavior to inform better questions and practical approaches.

03

Advocacy & public awareness

Bring attention to the effects of unnecessary family separation and destructive conflict. Inform public discussion and encourage systems that respect family integrity, responsible parenting, and children’s well-being.

04

Collaboration & accountability

Bring families, educators, researchers, and practitioners into the same conversation. Evaluate progress through family feedback, participation, observed behavior, and relationship outcomes.

03 / A CONNECTED COMMUNITY

One mission.
Shared responsibility.

The Ministry’s mission is advanced through collaboration. Each organization contributes its own role in connecting families with knowledge, resources, and support.

LOOKING AHEAD / PROPOSED INITIATIVE

Building the evidence
for stronger families.

The proposed Global Family Integrity Research Initiative seeks to understand how changing family systems, separation, conflict, and institutional practices affect parent-child relationships across communities and countries.

The goal is to inform education, professional practice, and public policy with rigorous research and practical findings. These are proposed research priorities, with implementation dependent on funding and collaborative partnerships.

Explore the proposed research priorities
  • Changes in family structure and the involvement of extended families.
  • Behavioral and social factors associated with severe parent-child relationship disruption.
  • Family court practices and the experiences of families across jurisdictions.
  • Educational approaches that may reduce conflict and support safe, healthy relationships.
  • Long-term outcomes, family feedback, and measurable progress.
